We are grateful for Brian’s ongoing commitment to AAOE and are pleased to present his Volunteer Voice:

What made you decide to volunteer with AAOE and what words of encouragement do you have for others that may consider doing so?

I volunteered with AAOE because of its strong commitment to advancing orthopedic practice leadership and fostering meaningful peer collaboration. Being able to contribute to an organization that directly supports our profession was both motivating and rewarding. For anyone considering volunteering, I would encourage you to get involved and start sharing your experience and insights, which truly matter, and the connections and growth you gain are invaluable. My volunteer service makes me feel honored, proud and grateful.

Which AAOE benefit or service do you use most and why?

AAOE’s networking and peer collaboration opportunities are the most valuable to me. The ability to connect with colleagues who understand the unique challenges of orthopedic practice management is important.  The annual conference provides valuable and relevant topics that fit all levels of administration in a practice.

Why are you enthusiastic about the orthopedic practice profession?

Orthopedic practice is uniquely rewarding because it combines innovation, operational excellence, and has meaningful patient impact. Helping patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life while navigating a constantly evolving healthcare landscape keeps the work engaging and purposeful.

Thank you, Brian, for all you do for AAOE and the profession!
