About Margie: With over 40 years’ experience in the Healthcare arena, in positions from nurse’s aide to ward clerk and medical transcriptionist to office manager, Margie understands how offices are structured. Twenty of those years were spent in the field of Orthopaedics. Margie is currently a member of AAOE, MGMA/ACMPE, AAPC, Society for Clinical Coding (SCC), PACHOM and AHIMA. She also is a member of NASS (North American Spine Society) and is a Board Member of Administrative Special Interest Group Committee. Margie stays current by attending the annual conventions for AAOE, MGMA and also the AMAs CPT symposium.
