Jason Muchow

Jason Muchow is a seasoned healthcare executive with deep expertise in musculoskeletal medicine, operations, and strategic growth. Over the course of his career, he has led large-scale service line development across orthopedics, sports medicine, and other specialties, working closely with physicians, health systems, and community partners to expand access, elevate patient experience, and drive innovation in care delivery.

His leadership has spanned practice operations, ambulatory development, and strategic partnerships with professional, collegiate, and community-based organizations. He has also played a key role in shaping integrated service line models and building high-performing teams across the healthcare community.

Jason is passionate about creating environments where teams thrive and about bridging innovation with clinical excellence. He collaborates with health systems, innovation teams, and growth-stage ventures to shape strategy, accelerate execution, and deliver sustainable solutions that benefit patients, providers, and communities.

In addition to his executive roles, Jason maintained active engagement in advancing the athletic training profession. He’s a founding board member of the Athletic Trainers in the Physician Practice Society, has served on NATA committees and workgroups, and contributes to the BOC’s Exam Development Committee for the Orthopedics Specialty Certification. Jason is engaged with the Advocacy Council with AAOE. He also serves as Global Innovation Advisor with BioSTL and operates his consulting practice, RKB Ascent.

Jason earned both his Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine & Athletic Training and his Master of Health Administration from Missouri State University.
