Volunteer Voices: Spotlight on Paulo E. Santos

Paulo was recently recognized for his service on our IRAB – Industry Relations Advisory Board. He is an energetic award-winning sales executive and sales leader with a proven track record of building partnerships and leading revenue growth within the healthcare industry. Most of his career has been focused in the field of radiology.
With demonstrated expertise in building teams and nurturing strategic relationships, delivering technical presentations, establishing C-Suite partnerships, managing the sales process, and entering and expanding markets, Paulo focuses on consulting to find the right solutions.

What made you decide to volunteer with AAOE, and what words of encouragement do you have for others who may consider doing so?
AAOE is the premier organization for orthopedics executives. I enjoy the networking, the yearly conferences are solid and the presentations are very informative. If you want to make a difference as a volunteer, I encourage you to reach out to AAOE and do it.
Which AAOE benefit or service do you use most and why?
Networking in the various conferences they put together every year. I enjoy meeting orthopedic executives and fellow vendors. It is a very dynamic environment, and I am always learning from others.
Why are you enthusiastic about the orthopedic practice profession?
The profession continues to evolve with technology breakthroughs to assist patients not only with their surgeries but also with their overall treatments. There is never a dull moment in the orthopedic space.
Which three words describe how you felt about being on Industry Relations Advisory Board (IRAB) so far?
Contribution, camaraderie, and purpose.
