Professional Bio
Grace Moorhead joins AAOE as an Administrative Specialist, bringing years of experience in strategic planning, project management, event coordination, and communication and engagement. With a background in sustainable tourism and ocean conservation, she offers a unique perspective and is excited to contribute to the team. In her role, Grace provides support for membership, education, volunteers, and operations, while also assisting AAOE staff with overall team and organizational efficiency.
Outside of work, Grace enjoys learning new crafts like crochet and creating stained glass mosaics. She also enjoys staying active and ran her first marathon at the Philadelphia Marathon in November 2025. Grace grew up in Rhode Island and is currently based in Washington, DC.
