Industry Relations Advisory Board

The AAOE Industry Relations Advisory Board is a group of exhibitor volunteers that provide recommendations on specific aspects of the AAOE exhibitor, sponsor, and advertising programs to better serve AAOE members and improve the vendors' experience.

Jason Miller, Chair

Jason Miller is a graduate of The University of South Florida where he played Men’s Soccer and earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. He has been working for Transworld Systems Inc (TSI) in accounts receivable management since October of 2005. As a District Manager his expertise focus on helping practices reach their financial goals. A lifetime Floridian, Jason lives in Central Florida with his wife and three sons.


Alicia Burns

Alicia Burns is the Orthopedic Product Marketing Manager at Modernizing Medicine, where she is responsible for managing the marketing and communication strategies for the orthopedic portfolio to enhance the customer experience and to support business goals. She also collaborates with product development teams to develop go-to-market strategies for innovative orthopedic solutions. Alicia has worked in healthcare marketing since 2009 and is a graduate of the University of Florida, where she studied telecommunication and business. Alicia resides in South Florida and enjoys exercising, traveling, and volunteering with community service organizations.


Eric Christensen

Eric is a nationally recognized speaker and author on compliance topics and practice management. Eric co-founded Healthcare Compliance Pros in 2011, bringing his 30+ years’ experience in healthcare compliance, IT administration, and education to the organization. Eric’s background in IT administration has been instrumental in providing a technical view of an organization's adherence to HIPAA Privacy and Security policies. Eric’s experience and expertise are highly regarded in the Security Risk Audits he is asked to perform for hundreds of healthcare entities. Eric’s experience brings a unique perspective into compliance and implementation in the medical community. Eric possesses a broad knowledge of telemedicine, e-PHI, MIPS/MACRA, employee hiring and firing, and more. Eric’s educational experience in Healthcare Administration and Information Technology partners well with his many certifications; MCSE, CCNA, CHCP, and others. 


Todd Davis

Todd Davis has been a member of the AllMeds team since 2012 and currently serves as National Director of Sales. He joined the AllMeds Team after a long career in the Fire/EMS Service. He also served as an Independent Orthopedic Rep for 7 years handling everything from bracing to Implants. Mr. Davis attended Walter State Community College and the University of Tennessee where he earned a Degree in Business Management. He currently serves as a Basketball Coach for 5th/6th Grade boys in Maryville TN. Todd is married to Christy Davis and they have two daughters and three grandchildren.


Jamie Grinstead

Jamie Grinstead is the Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Venel, a marketing and business development firm exclusive to orthopedics. For the past seven years, she has assisted with the evaluation of marketing efforts for practices across the country, helping to identify opportunities for them to gain competitive advantages within their markets. Jamie has extensive experience exhibiting at annual meetings for industry organizations, such as the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and the American Alliance of Orthopaedic Executives (AAOE). Outside of work, Jamie enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and dogs. 


Michaela Meyer, CMP

Michaela Meyer is an Experiential Marketing Manager with athenahealth. Michaela manages all events supporting the independent medical group segment including tradeshows, roundtables, dinners and concierge events. Michaela has been with athenahealth since 2012 and prior to joining athena Michaela worked in the pharmaceutical industry. Michaela has two young daughters, Stella and Poppy, and resides with her family in Newport RI.

Brandon Phillips 

Brandon Phillips is the C.O.O. of Physicians Rehab Solution and has specialized in the physician-based physical therapy space for over 15 years.  In that time Brandon has overseen the startup and ongoing management of over 150+ physician-based PT clinics across more than 25 states.  Brandon has been an active member of the AAOE since 2003, as well as a past speaker prior to joining the AAOE Industry Relations Board in 2016.  Brandon is a graduate of Western Kentucky University, and resides in Bowling Green, KY with his wife Abby, two sons Cole and Mason, and his dog Charlie.  In his spare time Brandon enjoys coaching his sons in youth sports, attending concerts with his wife, and is a big fan of WKU Hilltopper Athletics and the Indianapolis Colts.

Justin Rockman

Justin Rockman is VP Sales and Business Development at Surgimate and has been active in the healthcare industry for over 10 years. He has broad experience working hands-on with hundreds of orthopedic surgical practices and surgery centers across the United States.  Justin has worked in numerous successful start-ups and has broad international experience working with clients in the US, Europe and Asia.  Born in Melbourne Australia he has an LLB, BA and MBA. Justin is passionate about technology and providing the very best strategic solutions for his customers. In his spare times he enjoys playing the didgeridoo and running ultra-marathons. He is married to Gila and they have four children. 

Paul Trigger

Paul Trigger is the Executive Vice President and Principal for BBL Medical Facilities. For over three decades, he has provided leadership and guidance to healthcare clients in selecting and customizing a development approach that best addresses their needs and their business plan requirements. He functions as the point of contact and liaison throughout a project’s development process, working closely with clients to review and analyze their unique and particular facility needs. Paul also provides executive leadership for business development and marketing throughout the BBL organization. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, having graduated Magna Cum Laude from Union College. Paul is a member of the Associated General Contractors of America, the General Building Contractors of New York State, and has been an active member of multiple orthopedic and healthcare organizations, including the American Association of Orthopaedic Executives (AAOE), for over 20 years. He lives in Niskayuna, NY with his wife of 29 years, Connie, who has dedicated considerable time toward community service. They have two children, Laura and Matthew, both graduates of Northeastern University.  Paul frequently enjoys Endurance Kart racing with Matthew, on a race team that Connie manages.



Jana Foor (Board Liaison)

A seasoned orthopedic executive who has worked in healthcare for more than 25 years, Foor brings a zeal for leadership, volunteering, and professional development. She currently works for the Orthopaedic Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center in Red Bank, NJ, and has been a member of AAOE for 10 years. Foor has served on the Education Council, the Membership Committee, the Legacy Committee, and now as an AAOE board member. She has written content for the eNewsletter and presented at the 2016 annual conference. 

Foor works as a healthcare consultant with demonstrated effectiveness at identifying systemic and operational roadblocks to success, implementing strategies that affect change at multiple levels. Her skills have allowed companies to increase profits by streamlining operational practices in areas such as general business, human resources, recruitment, customer service and service delivery, and organizational development and management. Foor also serves on MDAdvantage Insurance Company of New Jersey’s Practice Management Advisory Committee.

Foor is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton and holds a Master’s degree and is doctoral prepared in Clinical Psychology from Forest Institute of Professional Psychology in Illinois. As a clinician, Foor and her team won the prestigious Cigna Presidents Award for their contribution to the national preferred provider initiative. Foor has served as an operations leader developing and implementing specialized treatment programming and as a speaker and consultant on issues related to effective facility and community corrections programming strategy, her efforts resulted in multi-state legislation of measures that resulted in an increase in community safety.

Foor enjoys travel, spending time with family, and donating her time to a variety of organizations for the betterment of the planet.
