AAOE Registry

The AAOE Registry was established in January 2018 to help orthopaedic MIPS eligible clinicians report to the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) in a cost effective manner. In CY 2019, the AAOE Registry will support 57 total quality measures, 119 improvement activities, and 11 Promoting Interoperability measures. In addition to the Registry's support for the 187 measures, the AAOE Registry allows MIPS eligible clinicians to utilize the survey functionality of the AAOE Data Warehouse to send and conduct patient surveys for survey dependent measures.

MIPS eligible clinicians report data throughout the year and will receive feedback on their performance at intervals throughout the performance period. AAOE has resources to guide MIPS eligible clinicians throughout the performance period and reports allowing registry participants to benchmark their participation against their peers.
