AAOE's 2019 Annual Conference agenda is packed with a lineup of all-star industry experts presenting on the latest trends and innovation in orthopedic practice management. To help you get to know the conference's speakers a little better, we will be spotlighting them leading up to the conference.

AAOE's 2019 Annual Conference brings to you Susan Young, MSA from Susan C. Young International, LLC. Connectivity is EVERYTHING in today’s competitive world. With each new encounter, impressions are made. Opinions are formed—about you, your service, your company, your appearance, and your personality—all within a few short seconds. Those “seconds” can be the make-or-break or yes-or-no basis for your success. Should you really leave them to chance? Make these moments meaningful and memorable. Attend Young's high energy session, "The Art of First Impressions for Positive Impact: 8 Ways to Shine Bright to Transform Relationships," to learn how to build and strengthen long-term mutually beneficial relationships, lead with confidence, communicate with courage, and ensure that your impressions—from the first to the last—are positive and substantial.

Young recently shared some information to help you get to know more about her and her session!

AAOE: Why should attendees come to your session?

Young: The quality of your relationships impacts the quality of your moments, your interactions, your success, and your overall health and well-being. During my session I will share transformative ways that you can take your relationships with patients, teams, stakeholders, and yourself to a more positive and meaningful level.

AAOE: What's a fun fact about you that attendees should know?

Young: To celebrate the birth of my first grandchild, I jumped out of a perfectly good airplane over Oahu's North Shore. I not only want to be a cool young grandma but want to role model that we can all set a goal, face our fears, take flight, and make great things happen when we choose to!

AAOE: What are key takeaways from your session?

Young: You will leave our session with eight key tools that you can implement immediately to change every relationship in your personal and professional lives for the better.
