AAOE's 2019 Annual Conference agenda is packed with a lineup of all-star industry experts presenting on the latest trends and innovation in orthopedic practice management. To help you get to know the conference's speakers a little better, we will be spotlighting them leading up to the conference.

AAOE's 2019 Annual Conference brings to you Kim Wishon, MBA, FACMPE from Watauga Orthopaedics. More than ever, patients are becoming the center of healthcare’s universe, and innovative, consumer-facing technology is already flourishing in response. How can organizations ensure they’re involving the right technology and processes to engage patients and enhance their experience?

In her session, "Working 9 to 5? Not Anymore! Establishing Open Access and an After-Hours Philosophy,"  Wishon will identify key strategies implemented by her organization to improve its patients’ access to care and enhance the productivity of its providers. In partnership with Kevin Ban, MD, athenahealth’s Chief Medical Officer, Wishon will offer a framework for how highly-engaged patients play a critical role in improving financial and organizational performance.

Wishon highlights what you'll learn in the short video below!

Wishon recently shared some information to help you get to know more about her and her session!

AAOE: What's a fun fact about you that attendees should know?

Wishon: I've been working for physicians since the day after I graduated from college. I have no other skills!

AAOE: What are key takeaways from your session?

Wishon: See everyone that can pay you, whenever they want to come to your office.
