AAOE's 2019 Conference brings to you Renita Bean, CHC, CHCO, MHA, MBA, Chief Compliance Officer of The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics. Having an effective compliance program is one of the many requirements of CMS as a condition for many orthopaedic practices that participate in Medicare or Medicaid. It can be overwhelming. Attend this session for guidance and tools to help improve your knowledge and make the journey much easier.

Bean: If you fear being audited by a regulatory agency, then this is the session for you! During the session I will explain the seven elements of an effective compliance program that could help you became proactive, rather than reactive, to audits.


AAOE: What's a fun fact about you that attendees should know?

Bean: I am a married mother of six with four grandchildren. I played Division 1 basketball and went to the NCAA tournament twice. I am a retired Air Force Veteran. I ride a motorcycle.

Bean: How to develop an effective compliance program from the ground up. How to get buy-in from leadership. You will also learn about tools to help make your compliance program a success.
