Speaker: Jason McCormick, MHA, Manager, Process Improvement, Campbell Clinic Orthopaedics

During this session, Jason McCormick will explain the growing need for quality management and process improvement within healthcare settings. He will teach you how to implement appropriate systems and processes to achieve actual quality and process improvements within healthcare settings.


After this session, you will:

  • Understand the need for quality management and process improvement systems.
  • Understand the basics of quality management and process improvement systems and be able to identify and eliminate waste in the system. You will know what types of quality management programs are currently being required by federal payers (CMS) and what needs to be done to comply with these requirements.
  • Be able to implement quality management and process improvement systems within your practice.
  • Know how to leverage quality management and process improvement systems to improve and grow your practice.


About the Speaker

Jason McCormick currently serves as the Manager, Process Improvement at Campbell Clinic Orthopaedics, a 50-physician practice located in Germantown, TN, a suburb of Memphis. During his tenure with Campbell Clinic, McCormick has served in many different capacities and helped to implement successful quality of care and regulatory programs, including BPCI and Meaningful Use. He currently serves on the AAOE Board of Directors and spends time working as a physician practice consultant and subject matter expert for several organizations and associations. He received his Master of Health Administration from the University of Memphis.
