Changes are coming- it’s time to know how to prepare and train your providers how to document to meet the new guidelines. While all the gray areas of E&M have NOT been eliminated, further explanations and definitions of many burning E&M questions have been addressed. Knowing how these will impact the interpretation of your documentation, and also knowing the gray areas that still exist are imperative to prepping for 2021. Attendees of this session will be provided a PDF download of a provider pocket card with the new guidelines included.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Insight on the specific guidelines.
  2. Identification of the gray areas of 2021 AMA Guidelines.
  3. Tips regarding provider education for the impending changes.
