BPCI Advanced: A Roundtable Discussion on Participation in CMS’ Newest Bundled Payment Model

With the announcement of BPCI Advanced in January 2018, many practices may be wondering “should I participate?” or “how do I participate?”. This webinar brings together two conveners in the orthopaedic bundle market, Fusion5 and Stryker Performance Solutions to discuss the implications of the new model for orthopaedic practices. The discussion will focus on the care redesigns necessary to be successful in the model and, what participants see as, the profile of successful participants.

The webinar will consist of one 60 minute roundtable discussion followed by two, 30 minute interactive Q&A’s with each convener beginning at 1:00 pm EST on Thursday, March 1, 2018.

Learning Objectives:

  • Critically analyze the BPCI Advanced model to determine viability of practice participation.
  • Design a justification for participating/not participating in BPCI Advanced.
  • Participants should be able to explain the BPCI Advanced model and where it fits in Medicare’s march towards value-based reimbursement.
  • Apply the discussion to practice preparations for BPCI Advanced.
