Washington, DC - On a House Democratic Caucus call, House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi indicated that she was leaning towards delaying the Democratic Caucus' leadership elections until after the Thanksgiving holiday, according to Politico. Pelosi's indication comes as Democrats feel more confidant about not only taking the White House and the majority in the Senate but also a majority in the House of Representatives.

On the call Pelosi predicted having a "large freshman class" according to the newspaper and the delay in elections is to give these new members an opportunity to vote for leadership positions.
