In this AAOE Member in the Spotlight feature, meet AAOE member and Communications Council volunteer Jeanie Neumeyer, MBA, MSA, Emory Healthcare.
What is the best advice you have ever been given?
Every year or so, stop to ask yourself what it is you want to be when you grow up, and also ask that of your team.
What quote or song lyric provides inspiration to you?
"You can be bitter or better ... you get to choose."
What is at the top of your bucket list and why?
Travelling to Australia. My 3rd grade teacher was from Sydney and inspired me from a young age to want to travel there.
If you could pick any other career, what would you do?
I would be a photographer. Love a unique angle or interesting perspective you can capture with a photo.
What do you do when you are not at work?
I take my dogs for a walk, workout, waste too much time on Facebook, and eat ... love good food!
What words of wisdom do you have for new AAOE members?
Don't be shy ... utilize the wisdom in the room and within the membership to help you with problems you may be dealing with.
