OJM Group Principal Carole Foos, CPA provides an overview of a medical practice's P&L and other financial statements and reports that should be reviewed regularly by the physician practice owner. She covers other issues typically discussed between physician owners and their CFOs, including budgets, performance indicators, and the overall financial health of the practice. Ms. Foos also offers common questions that medical practice owners should be asking their CPAs and other financial advisors.

Meet the Speaker:

 

Carole Foos, CPA

Carole Foos is an OJM Group principal and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) offering tax analysis and tax planning services to OJM clients. Carole is a co-author of more than a dozen financial resources for physicians including For Doctors Only: A Guide to Working Less and Building More, Wealth Protection Planning for Orthopaedic Surgeons, Wealth Management Made Simple, and the Category I CME Monograph Risk Management for the Practicing Physician.

She has also authored numerous articles and presented lectures and webinars on tax planning and financial topics for national medical societies and associations, including the American Orthopaedic Association, the American Alliance of Orthopaedic Executives, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Carole graduated with a BSBA from Xavier University in Accounting and has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting in the field of taxation. She was formerly a manager in the tax department of a Big 4 firm and spent several years in public accounting.
