AAOE is only as strong as our members are active. All members are encouraged to take advantage of the numerous benefits and services provided by the association. You also are encouraged to share your knowledge and successes with peers. AAOE provides a great platform to do just that.

Mentoring Program

The Mentoring Program unites members to provide guidance, insight, and assistance to one another, expand competencies, increase personal growth, and gain a better understanding of orthopaedic practice management. AAOE offers mentors by length of time in orthopaedic practice management, as well as by project.  Click here for more information on the program and to apply.

Participate in AAOE surveys

AAOE members are encourage to take surveys to better the association. All surveys will not only enhance the association’s offerings of education, they will also benefit your practice.

  • Benchmarking Survey: each year we conduct a survey to provide you the ability to compare your practice statistics with similar practices across the country, with yearly updates. This data is invaluable.
  • Loyalty Survey: as AAOE’s membership grows, so does your network. The Loyalty survey is designed to gather feedback on how and why you are a member. This data is then used throughout the next year to develop marketing and membership retention strategies for the association.

Sign up for the AAOE Writer's Resource Pool!

Join the Writer’s Resource Pool for the chance to contribute to industry-related articles published on our "Latest News" blog and our weekly eNews. Our writers always need reliable sources of industry information--that’s where you come in. Everyone who signs up for our writer’s pool will receive monthly emails detailing upcoming article topics. If a topic catches your eye and you are willing to be interviewed on it for an article, let us know. Or if you know someone else who could provide information on a topic, let us know. We’ll reach out to him or her. Each person we interview will be appropriately quoted and credited within the articles.

The topics will vary each month, so there is no pressure to be a source each month. You don’t even have to respond if you aren’t interested. This is simply the opportunity to see what’s coming up and get involved!

Click here for more information on the Writer's Pool and to sign up.

AAOE Members In the Spotlight

AAOE has some truly amazing members, but not everybody knows each other. Help fix that by taking some time to introduce yourself to other members, today!

  • Tell us about the incredible work you are involved in, such as successes, milestones, or experiences that other members may benefit from learning more about.
  • Pass along information about the noteworthy things other members are doing or achieving.

If you would like to be featured in an upcoming issue of the weekly eNews, click here to provide some information. Take five minutes to answer just five questions, providing just enough information for others to get to know you. Then watch for your name in the enewsletter Member Spotlight and tell all your friends about it.

If you want to tell us about someone else or you have specific events/projects to tell us about, send an email to AAOE Communications Coordinator Alyssa DelPrete at adelprete@aaoe.net. You do not need to provide an entire write-up or article (although you are more than welcome to do so). Simply provide a brief description (3-4 sentences) along with your contact information should any follow-up be needed.
